Pumpkin bread recipe

There is never too much pumpkin:-) It's so good in both sweet and salty foods. This delicious pumpkin bread is my favourite. It is a real satisfaction for the eyes and stomach. Easy to make, healthy, soft and sooooooo tasty!

You need:

- 100ml (3 fl oz) warm water
- 2 tbsp milk powder
- 1,5 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 and 1/4 tsp salt
- 150g (5 oz) pumpkin puree
- 150g (5 oz) bread flour
- 150g (5 oz) plain flour
- 3g (1tsp) dried yeast

Prepare the pumpkin puree: cut the pumpkin in cubes and boil it until it is ready. Then make puree using a blender or a potato masher

Combine water, milk powder, oil, salt and sugar

Add the pumpkin puree

Add both types of flour and the yeast and knead the dough (I use my bread maker to do it but if you knead the dough by hand it's just the same). Let it grow in a warm place for 1 hour

Shape a bread loaf and score it

Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and bake the pumpkin bread for about 40 minutes. When it's ready remove it from the oven and cover with a cotton cloth (like this it will be super soft inside). Bon appetit:-)
