Hummus recipe

 
Hummus is one of my favorite healthy appetizers. Of course you can buy it ready-made. But trust me this recipe is so simple and fast that you can prepare it in less than 10 minutes! Homemade is always better:-) 

You need:

- 290g (10oz) canned chickpeas (drained)
- 1 tsp olive oil
- a pinch of salt
- 1/2 garlic clove
- juice of half lemon
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp tahini


Place all the ingredients in a food processor and process until the mixture is smooth and fully combined. It's always better to prepare and refrigerate hummus a day ahead. Like this it will taste even better:-)

And this is another version of hummus - made with beans (I used the same recipe just replaced canned chickpeas with canned beans). Yummy!
